Most dog raincoats are thin nylon ponchos sprayed with a water-repellent coating that doesn't last. That may be fine for light drizzle, but it doesn't hold up when it really rains. Or in sleet, slush, and snow.
Wetterson is made for the days most dog owners stay home. We use a 3-layer waterproof and breathable membrane to block out the elements while allowing heat and moisture to escape. It’s the same design approach used in high-end human shells, including brands like Arc’teryx.®
The result is an all-weather shell that keeps dogs dry, stays comfortable on the move, and layers easily over the warm coats they already have for the winter months.

Our Story
​Wetterson began with Piper, our sweet 5-year-old Vizsla. She loves being outside with us and is absolutely fearless on the trails. But like so many dogs, she hates getting wet (she even avoids stepping in puddles). It never really felt right that we stayed warm and dry in our own waterproof gear while she shivered through the rain.
We tried every dog raincoat we could find. Some handled a light drizzle, others worked for quick walks, but none were truly waterproof. So we decided to make something better: a 100% Waterproof All-Weather Shell designed for every kind of dog and every kind of day. Not just for big adventures, but for everyday real life.
